Please know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers for several weeks. Since our computers joined the ranks of the infected, it is only recently we can share our thoughts with you. What a gift you are sharing as you write each day, describing this new existence with your usual clarity, humor, and creativity. It saddens us that you, Connie, have joined three other friends of ours who are valiantly fighting this evil we call cancer. Wishing you patience for your body to respond and heal, hope for the days ahead and strength to take it day by day. Love, Bill and Michele

We’re following your journey each day with wonder and concern. Your wonderful spirit and sense of humor continues to touch new lives as you work to humanize the medical profession. As always your creative and thoughtful writing brings new perspectives and insights– and joy to all our lives. Thanks for taking the time to share in this very thoughtful way.
Our prayers, concern and love follow your steps each day.
Love,
Gary and Julie

Thanks for including us in the mailing of information regarding this fascinating website. The thoughts come forth each day about you two and and your family as you take this journey. The prayers follow with emotions that challenge our thinking about the whole situation. And then come your inspirational remarks which provide ample encouragement for us to realize that Connie and Charles are alright, even in these trying days. What’s up with that? We should be the encouragers for dear ones, but find ourselves being inspired by you. Thanks! By the way, how come we never made doughnuts during our tenure in Seward?

Much love,
Gail and Fred

You are just too cool about this whole odyssey. Prayers will be kept up with, but I just have the feeling that Heaven isn’t ready for Connie Ore!
Blessings, beyond those of today’s sunshine and promise of spring, be yours and Charles as you duke it out with your illness.
Kris

We continue to keep you in our prayers and although God is ultimately the one who will keep you from going over the edge, know that you are loved and cared for by many on this side of heaven. I enjoyed the “happy song” from Charles…it was wonderful to hear it live this weekend as well.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
Love, Irene
