You are, of course, being held in my heart, thoughts and prayers along with your family and friends. Alphie, too! Your descriptions of him and his behaviors bring laughter and joy to my spirit! My Oh Susannah, is a Lab/Springer spaniel mix and she shares many of Alphie’s behaviors. She is much smaller though and is @ 50 pounds at nearly 7 years of age. She is warm, loving, very intelligent and very hig-spirited. One of her favorite games is to bark at the back door and then when I get there to let her in, she takes off, barks at Sugar, the Golden who livews next door and then proceeds to RUN up and down the fenceline, racing with Sugar. She keeps watch the entire time to make sure that I am watching her!

Love! Janna
