I have an idea, how about Charles’ next cooking lesson be chicken noodle soup! (nothing like a home remedy to chase the germs away).

Connie, thank you for sharing your experience (your life) in this way. It is good to know how you are doing and, selfishly, your words are filled with such insight, raw truth, and inspiration that I look forward to reading them everyday . You have awakened me to so much more in life. Thank you.

May God wrap you in a blanket of warmth and love today.
Barb

If you haven’t already, you might consider speaking with your doctor about prophylactic doses of antibiotics (Levaquin or Bactrim) and an anti-viral (acyclovir) as a hedge against opportunistic infections and viruses. This practice was part of our protocol and even when very, very neutropenic, we were spared the added insult of colds and flu.

We pray the cold “gets out of town!”

God’s blessings to you,
Irene
