You? Frankenstein? Never!! Here’s hoping that these next rounds of treatment will be much easier for you, now that you are buoyed by the positive report!

My brother Gary was “appointed” to read the Gospel (“I am the Good Shepherd….”) at the English service which we attended at the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. How neat it was to see a Werling reading the Good News to the people — just a few feet from Martin Luther’s tomb. I did indeed say a prayer for you at that service. May we all always follow our Good Shepherd, as He guides us through the hills and valleys of this life until we are finally Home!!

Love,
Mindy

P.S. Tell Charles that in Lambsheim we met a German “Aunt Erna” — a delightful Werling by the name of Ilse. I am working now to determine exactly how we are related to her, but I have no doubt that we are. The likeness to Aunt Erna was incredible!

Remission! What a beautiful word! I’m glad that it is there to carry you through this round of chemo and the next! At least the “discomfort” (to put it mildly) is doing something positive.

The sun will return but for now the inner sunshine will sustain you!

The lilacs here are gone for another season. Glad you have some that you can still enjoy!

Joy and love in Jesus,
Irene
